About Floeism
Floeism is an art brand and movement with a studio based in Calgary, Canada. Founded in 2017 by Arthur Andryszewicz, Floeism is the essence of energy as it flows through an artistic perspective. When Arthur began exploring the flow of movement through the use of colourful paint, he realised that he was connecting to the forces of nature through art. Forming a practise around manipulating the flow of creative energy through painting, Arthur came up with the term "Floeism," which is a hybrid word derived from the words "flow," "poetry," and all the movements ending with "ism." Art has the power to inspire, transform, and connect us all. The mission of Floeism is to celebrate creativity, encourage collaboration, and spark meaningful conversations.
Arthur Andryszewicz
Arthur is a multidisciplinary artist known for his vibrant and dynamic artworks. Born and raised in Calgary, AB, with a Polish/Ukrainian background, he discovered his passion for art at an early age. It was evident that Arthur possessed a remarkable level of creativity shown in his artistic pursuits, and unconventional problem-solving skills. His work often explores the themes of colourful abstraction and symbolism, attempting to capture the energy of the fleeting moment in whatever medium he works in. Most commonly, Arthur works with acrylic paint on canvas, manipulating the movement of paint through various techniques to create intricate and vibrant forms of art. He believes that art is a fluid form of expression, which he tries to capture in his brand, Floeism.
