Acrylic paint on fabric mounted on canvas with gloss finish. This painting evolved over several years through layered moments of experimentation, each pass adding to a surface that continuously resisted completion. It moved through many versions of itself, none of which felt final, until accumulation reached a point where change became unnecessary. Its completion was recognized not through intention, but through distance.
